This 12-fret jumbo (17") size guitar has pau rosa back
and sides, European spruce top, ebony bridge, and a bois d'rose
fretboard. It has recurved sides, a Laskin-style armrest bevel,
multiple sound ports, and a bottom access panel. Trim is of ebony,
bois d'rose, bloodwood, and redwood burl. The name is derived from
the early 20th century Vega/Fairbanks line of Whyte Laydie banjos.
